It’s better to think of this community as a spiritual growth supplement best engaged alongside going to a church. 

Congregational spiritual growth endeavors typically need to be more general in order to speak to the diversity under its roof. This is for those who want a more targetted program. 

That being said, I realize that many progressive Christians don’t have any good options for a local church. In this case, our community might be the next best thing. 

There are plenty of free communities online where people chat back and forth. This is a group coahing opportunity. Coaches generally charge for their services. 

Remember, this is a business endeavor, not a church. I am charging for my time and expertise. 

This is a start-up community. You are getting in on the ground level. 

You can expect membership to be low for a while. Personally, I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I like smaller groups because they give people more time to participate. 

I’m also working out the kinks. I will add to the community as we go and make adjustments based on what seems to be working and what doesn’t. So, the ride might b a bit rough for a while. 

More than likely, yes. And, I intend to honor the price that people opt in at. So, wheaever fee you join at will be your fee until you cancel. 

As I expand opportunities, I will also add diferent tiers. That way people can choose how much they want to invest in their spiritual growth. 

The focus is on the unique needs of progressive Christians who want to expand their spiritual horizons and deepen their sense of connection with the Divine. 

Others can benefit from the approach, and open to others joining. I simply require that they be respectful of the focus of the group and the approach. 

The community is part of the Evolving Christian Faith Network. This network exists to give voice to a progressive Christian perspective on what Christianity can become in our emerging world. 

By investing in the community, you support me financially, which frees me up to create free content available on other platforms for those who need to hear the message. 

It’s all about needs. 

Some people just need a group withlike-minded spiritual eople to hang out with regularly because they don’t have that where they live. They are looking for comraderie and networking. The price of this group is basically the same as getting a couple cups of coffee a month with others. 

Others are seekers. who want to expand and deepen their spirituality. They have extra opportunities to gether in guided coaching sessions targeting growth. 

I’ve chosen Discord. The most important feature is the abundant ability to stream video conversations. 

At any time, members can join public rooms to video chat (kind of like getting together in a public space for coffee). You can also start private video chats with others (like getting together in your kitchen for coffee). 

I believe that video communication is indepensible for building online community in this day and age because of the unique way it allows people to connect and bond. 

No, they are not. 

Donations to churches are tax deductions because they are 501(c)(3)s. This community is not a 501(c)(3), but rather a business (which means I also pay taxes).
